1999 Cabernet Sauvignon
Estate grown, produced and bottled. Shows a rich bouquet, intense liquorice and berry flavours, good mouth feel with balanced tannins, and long palate.

1999 Riesling
Estate grown, produced and bottled. This was late picked on the second weekend of May on a cold, snowy day. It is a full bodied, fruity dry wine with pear, lime and cinnamon flavours. A fine long palate and good acid finish. The Riesling is made to drink now, but its potential longevity is 30 years.

1999 Chardonnay
Estate grown and produced, it has been barrel fermented in a combination of old and new French oak barriques. On the palate this wine shows citrus, melon and peach flavours.

2000 Cabernet Sauvignon/Chardonnay
Continue to ferment in oak barriques.

2000 Riesling
To be released in June/July.

2001 Vintage
Preparing for vintage is always exciting and feverish. The 2001 Riesling will be made by the award winning winemaker Llew Knight of Granite Hills. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay will be made by the proprietor of Blackgum Estate - Simonette Sherman in consultation with Tom Gyorffy.
